Cities at night

Thierry Cohen shows us how the starry sky would look without pollution. The photographer traveled the globe photographing cityscapes from Shanghai to Los Angeles to Rio de Janeiro.

“Living in New York City, unless you live very high up, you never see the horizon, which is really kind of odd,” said Marcus. “I’m not sure we are really aware of the effects of not being able to see it.”
