City Fragments.

The places and the people that we pass by, the constant humming sound of the city, the glimpse of different faces, the buildings that surround us, the movement and the rhythm within a city, are all a big part of our daily lives, but sometimes we hardly pay any attention to what surrounds us.

It is not the most amazing and spectacular views of the city that define our experiences and perception of an urban area, it is the fragmentary stories and the small elements, the little simple daily experiences that make up the city portrait.

The project explores the relation between daily city experiences, the dynamics of the city and the possibility of representing the urban areas and creating a fragmentary portrait through the lenses of the camera and through sound-recordings. The fragments of London.
